About ipranking.io
ipranking.io is a global entertainment IP intelligence platform that tracks observed demand signals for anime, gaming, and character IPs across 86 normalized CVS markets. It serves as a public benchmark for the entertainment industry, making IP performance data transparent and accessible.
The platform aggregates data from 6 independent sources : Netflix, limited-market YouTube coverage, Google Trends, AniList, MyAnimeList, and Wikipedia : and synthesizes them into the Cultural Velocity Score (CVS). Source signals refresh on different schedules and source coverage varies by provider. CVS scores are recomputed daily at 11:00 UTC, and franchise snapshots are generated daily at 12:00 UTC. Rankings reflect the latest available visible snapshot.
ipranking.io is built on a transparency-first methodology. The scoring formula, data sources, and update cadence are fully documented. All ranking data is published under a CC BY 4.0 license, enabling free use by researchers, journalists, and industry analysts.
