About ipranking.io
ipranking.io is a global entertainment IP intelligence platform that tracks observed demand signals for anime, gaming, and character IPs across 86 markets. It serves as a public benchmark for the entertainment industry, making IP performance data transparent and accessible.
The platform aggregates currently observed public demand signals across source categories such as Google Trends, AniList, Netflix, MyAnimeList, and Wikipedia, then synthesizes eligible rows into the Cultural Velocity Score (CVS). Source signals refresh on different schedules and source coverage varies by provider. CVS scores are recomputed daily at 11:00 UTC, and franchise snapshots are generated daily at 12:00 UTC. Source status and freshness are documented in the methodology.
ipranking.io is built on a transparency-first methodology. The scoring formula, source status, freshness rules, and update cadence are fully documented. All ranking data is published under a CC BY 4.0 license, enabling free use by researchers, journalists, and industry analysts.
