Answer summary
What IP Ranking Open Data provides
What is this dataset?
IP Ranking Open Data provides downloadable entertainment IP demand-signal exports for researchers and analysts. The exports cover 278 tracked IPs where available across 86 normalized CVS markets.
What does CVS measure?
Cultural Velocity Score / CVS v1.2 compares public demand signals across 6 public signal-source categories. It is not an official audience count, sales result, revenue estimate, valuation, or investment signal.
How should it be used?
Use these files as directional research inputs alongside the live rankings, methodology notes, rights-holder checks, and commercial due diligence. Cite the collection or file and include the export date when available.
Data status note
Open Data exports are generated separately from the live dashboard and may lag behind the latest visible ranking snapshot. Use the live ranking pages for the current CVS order and scores.
The IP catalog is an experimental metadata export. Creator and publisher fields may contain mapping errors while metadata validation is being improved. Do not treat creator/publisher fields as authoritative until the catalog metadata cleanup is complete.
No Signal Yet means an IP has not accumulated enough visible cross-source demand signals in the latest available snapshot. It does not mean the IP has no audience, revenue, or cultural value.

Editorial, Corrections, and Data Limits
What the data measures
IP Ranking compares public demand signals across 6 public signal-source categories and 86 normalized CVS markets. Cultural Velocity Score / CVS v1.2 is a demand-signal index, not an official audience count.
What it does not measure
Demand signals are not sales, revenue, profit, valuation, IP value, licensing availability, campaign ROI, or investment advice. Use them as one input alongside legal, commercial, and rights-holder checks.
