The first scheduled run passed on June 1, 2026. It wrote 127 rows to signal_readingsand 127 rows to trend_scores, with observed scores ranging from 1.5 to 88.2.
The downstream checks also passed. The daily CVS job and the franchise snapshot job completed after the AniList run, and the monitor reported healthy status for the daily outputs. This matters because a source signal is useful only if it can move through the scoring pipeline without destabilizing the public ranking layer.

This is a small movement event. It does not mean these titles are suddenly the most popular anime franchises globally. It means the newly active AniList signal produced enough observable change to move two franchise CVS snapshots after the daily aggregation jobs ran.
Why this is not a Movers launch
The movement layer is still sparse. In the latest day-over-day comparison, only 2 of 193 franchise rows changed. In the latest 7-day window, only 6 of 193 franchises changed, with movement between -1 and +3. That is useful as a health signal, but not yet enough to support a public Trending or Movers page without over-interpreting small changes.
IP Ranking will therefore keep movement context lightweight: small badges, conservative weekly notes, and transparent caveats. A fuller Movers surface should wait until more source categories are fresh and enough franchises show recurring movement across multiple weekly cycles.
How to read low-signal rows
Low-signal rows should not be read as low popularity. They mean IP Ranking has limited observable public signal for that row in the current model. A famous franchise can still show a low CVS if only one source category is currently visible, stale, or measurable. That is why the homepage now labels exact 5.0 rows as limited signal instead of presenting them as ordinary weak scores.
CVS is a public demand-signal score. It is not official audience size, sales, revenue, licensing valuation, or distribution coverage. For B2B planning, the most useful read is direction plus confidence: which signals moved, how many sources support the movement, and whether the same pattern persists.
What comes next
AniList remains under observation. The safest path is to watch one full weekly cycle before enabling the next stale source. If the next cycles continue to propagate cleanly, IP Ranking can evaluate the next source candidate and then re-run 7-day, 14-day, and 28-day movement checks.
For now, the signal note is the product surface: small, specific, and conservative. It records what changed without turning a small data movement into a popularity claim.
